Prof. Aylin, MD, ScD. is born on 23 September 1963 in Istanbul. After graduating from Üsküdar Kız Lisesi in 1980 and Istanbul University School of Medicine in 1986, she has been granted the title of Doctor of Medicine.

In 1986, she began her Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialization at the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. In 1990, she acted as an observer at the University of Texas, Health Science Center in San Antonio, in the United States. She completed her specialization in 1992 and started working as a doctor at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department.

In 1996, she attended the Vesalis Course on Microsurgical Dissection of Free Flaps and Clinical Applications in Brussels, Belgium.

In 1997, she studied endoscopic plastic surgery, and facial and breast cosmetic surgeries, at the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgical Center of Maryland, USA, under world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr Oscar Ramirez. During the same period, she worked on Fresh Cadaver Facial Aesthetics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore.

During her work at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, she has been granted the titles of Associate Professor in 2002 and Professor in 2009. She is currently pursuing her activities in the same department as a professor.

She is a member of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association, Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association and Turkish Reconstructive Microsurgery Association.

She published several articles in local and international journals and gave speeches at local and international medical panels and congresses. Her articles on facial and breast aesthetics are documented in the medical literature.

Prof. Aylin, MD, ScD. is an experienced plastic surgeon specializing in breast surgery, facial aesthetics, body contouring (tummy tuck, thigh and arm lift) and genital cosmetic surgery.

She is married and the mother of twin boys. Her hobbies include scuba diving, skiing and landscape architecture.
