A dental porcelain veneer is an artificial tooth that covers the front surface of a tooth like a mask. For those who are wondering what they are made of, the main material is the glass particles mixed with various substances such as lithium disilicate. In contrast to dental crowns, porcelain laminate veneers require minimum amount of tooth surface reduction. Therefore, dentists consider porcelain veneers as one of the least invasive aesthetic dental procedures. Moreover, unlike the traditional porcelain fused to metal (PFM) crowns, porcelain veneers do not have a black metal base. This makes them look much more natural and aesthetic.

We produce porcelain veneers in both digital (Cad Cam method) and non-digital (Press method) environment. Whatever method we use to prepare your porcelain veneers, we will perform a minimal invasive tooth preparation prior to the lab work.

Advantages of Dental Veneers:

  • They require minimal teeth preparation. Therefore, less healthy tooth tissue is removed compared to full veneers or dental crowns.
  • They are prepared in a single day with 3D design and milling devices.
  • Laminate veneers provide highly aesthetic results

Disadvantages of Laminate Veneers:

  • Laminate veneers are more prone to debonding and chipping than full veneers or dental crowns.
  • They are not suitable for high load bearing areas such as molar teeth.
  • Laminate veneers are not suitable for correcting a teeth crowding.
  • Not suitable for teeth grinding (Bruxism) patients.

Emax Laminate Veneers are completed in our in-house dental laboratory within only 48 hours. We advice patients to stay for an extra day for last checks before they travel back to their country. Ideally, 4 or 5 days of accommodation are enough for the complete procedure.

Even though Conventional Laminate Veneer procedure require minimum amount of tooth preparation, the tooth tissue that is removed does not comeback naturally. Therefore, conventional dental laminate veneer is a non-reversible procedure.

However, this is not the case with prep less dental veneers. As the name suggests, prep fewer laminate veneers do not require any tooth tissue removal which makes it a reversible procedure.

From the tooth preparation to the laboratory work of new dental veneers, there are a few tricks that professional dentists follow in order to make porcelain laminate veneers last longer. Thickness of the porcelain restoration, the depth of the tooth tissue removal, cement material are highly important factors for the life expectancy of porcelain veneers.

In Europe Dental Clinics Turkey, all dentists are highly knowledgeable about these rules which are respected during porcelain veneer preparations.

Our dentists perform the porcelain laminate veneers procedure under local anaesthesia. Our patients do not feel any pain after the injection of the local anaesthetic.

Moreover, prepless dental veneers do not even require any local anaesthetic injection.

The aesthetics do not only come from the material. Skills of the dentist and the dental lab is highly important to achieve a natural and aesthetic result. In Europe Dental Clinics Turkey, our highly experienced dentists and technicians works in a great collaboration to provide the most aesthetic dental veneers with only the top quality dental materials.

You should look after your veneers as if they are your natural teeth; brush gently with a soft or medium-bristle tooth brush with 45 degree’s angulation towards the gums, twice a day. Also, flossing will let you clean the areas that a toothbrush can not reach.
